We created a pilot for a new type of digital editorial at Nike.
As part of their extended efforts in digital publishing, Nike celebrated their top athletes’ journey towards the summer’s big competitions and the brand’s role in pushing their limits.
We designed and built a series of custom stories within the Nike News ecosystem.

The main challenge here was to create a consistent design language that does the richness and energy of the stories justice, while working seamlessly within both the Nike News platform and the overall Nike brand.
The series featured 20+ stories on athletes ranging from up and comers to full-fledged legends, and served as a template for a new style of rich editorial at Nike—also including a limited edition book distributed through selected shops like New York’s NikeLab 21 Mercer.
